This year's Retail Shippers Expo was a huge success. Over 200 store owners made the trek to Dallas to learn, network and have FUN. Here are just some of the highlights from Dallas... Retail Shippers Expo - Tradeshow The tradeshow provided a perfect venue for busy storeowners to speak directly with the vendors, see their products in action, discuss the finer points of their services and to obtain first-hand advice on how to market their products. Over 30 vendors were on hand for this year's event.   5th Annual PostalMate User Conference Professional Retail Shippers agree, you can never know enough about your store technology. For the fifth year in a row these professionals met to learn and share all there is to know about PostalMate and how automation makes money in retail shipping locations. And when the learning was done, PostalMate users showed they can party with the very best!   RS BootCamp & RS Academy Training The Expo kicked off with an intensive all-day seminar for new and soon-to-be store owners in RS BootCamp. A room full of store owners received expert advice on everything from opening the doors to operating the business to developing an exit strategy. RS Academy training was offered throughout the weekend and gave new and veteran owners alike a chance to get certified in courses like Basic Packing, International Shipping, Sales & Marketing, CMRA Operations and much more.   Profit Builder Clinics Several vendors provided FREE clinics to store owners interested in offering their products and services in their own stores. The purpose was to specifically show store owners how to best position these products or services in order to maximize the profit potential. The one-hour sessions gave owners plenty of time to get a complete picture on how each product can enhance their current offering.   Peer & Vendor Networking Once again, the sharing of ideas between the hundreds of store owners in attendance was one of the most valuable aspects of the event. Many new friendships were formed and even more were strengthened by this annual meeting of the minds.
